Our state-of-the-art putting studio is located at Golf24 Southport and is equipped with some of the most advanced putting analysis technology available anywhere in the world.

The facility features a SAM PuttLab, SAM Ball Tracking and Projection System, a PerfectStroke adjustable electric putting platform with projection and dedicated  video cameras integrated with advanced analysis software. Together, these technologies provide comprehensive insights into every aspect of a golfer’s putting performance.

The SAM PuttLab is widely regarded as the world’s leading putting analysis system, trusted by elite coaches and tour professionals worldwide. It measures and reports on 41 different parameters of the putting stroke, delivering precise data that helps golfers improve both technique and consistency.

PerfectStroke is one of the few facilities globally capable of analysing golfers on the SAM PuttLab while performing both straight and breaking putts. Since beginning its research and coaching programs in 2006, PerfectStroke has been a pioneer in the controlled analysis and instruction of breaking putts.

In addition to the SAM PuttLab, we extensively utilise leading technologies including Vertex, Blast Motion, and Capto, along with the PerfectStroke Putting Aid, to help golfers of all skill levels achieve measurable improvement.

We offer comprehensive full-day putting schools that combine detailed putting technique analysis at Golf24 Southport with on-course green reading instruction at Lakelands Golf Club, providing golfers with both technical expertise and practical performance skills.

GOLD COAST GOLF LESSONS AND FULL DAY GOLF SCHOOLS

We offer private and shared golf lessons, as well as comprehensive one-day and multi-day Golf Schools designed to help golfers of all skill levels improve every aspect of their game.

Our Golf Schools are conducted at either Lakelands Golf Club or the Golf24 Indoor Studio in Southport on the Gold Coast. Combining technical instruction, practice, and on-course coaching, these programs provide a unique opportunity to develop skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the concepts that drive long-term improvement.

Programs include instruction both at our state-of-the-art indoor studio and on the course at Lakelands Golf Club and other premier Gold Coast golf venues. Participants benefit from a structured learning environment that combines expert coaching with practical, real-world application.

A key feature of our coaching is specialised putting analysis and instruction using industry-leading SAM PuttLab technology, integrated with high-speed video analysis and a comprehensive range of training aids. Our putting studio also features SAM Ball Tracking and Projection technology, together with the PerfectStroke adjustable putting platform. This advanced system allows golfers to practise on a variety of slopes while visualising precise aim lines and ball-roll paths for putts of different lengths and breaks, accelerating both technical development and green-reading skills.

A typical one-day Golf School begins at 8:30 am at Lakelands Golf Club. Coaches Mark Officer and Wayne Armstrong will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your swing, short game, putting, and overall course management skills. Drawing on more than 75 years of combined coaching experience, they will identify key improvement areas and provide clear, practical solutions tailored to your game.

Throughout the day, participants spend time on the Lakelands practice facilities, including the driving range, short-game areas, and putting greens, before applying their learning on the course. Following lunch, coaching continues during on-course play, where players learn how to transfer practice-ground improvements into lower scores and better decision-making.

All full-day Golf Schools include the option to play 18 holes at the highly acclaimed Jack Nicklaus-designed Lakelands Golf Club. Our four-day and five-day Golf Schools also offer the opportunity to experience and play additional top-rated Gold Coast golf courses, creating a complete golfing and learning experience.
