Perfectstroke Director of Instruction Mark Officer bases his golf teaching business at both Lakelands Golf Club, Merrimac and Golf24 Southport on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Full swing lessons can be conducted on either green grass at Lakelands Golf Club or at Golf 24 Southport using TrackMan technology.
Full Swing Lessons
Perfectstroke owner Mark Officer conducts full swing lessons both at Lakelands Golf Club and at the Golf 24 indoor centre on Queensland’s Gold Coast. At Lakelands Golf Club players can hit off grass and see ball flight and ball reaction at world class practice facilities or we can use TrackMan golf simulators at Golf 24. TrackMan technology provides realistic imagery with extremely accurate representation of ball flight in distance, carry and curvature.
A one hour lesson by appointment costs $140.00, $80.00 for half and hour and we also offer on course lesson’s and package rates.
Putting Lessons and Green Reading
Our putting studio is located at Golf24 Southport.
It features a SAM Puttlab, SAM Ball Tracking and Projection system, a Perfectstroke adjustable electric putting platform, and dedicated video cameras connected to software to analyse golfer’s putting strokes. The SAM Puttlab can measure and report on 41 different parameters in the putting stroke and is regarded as the best analysis tool for putting trusted by top coaches and players around the world. The Perfectstroke putting studio is one of the only locations in the world set up to analyse golfers on the SAM Puttlab on straight and breaking putts. Perfectstroke was the pioneer in this type of controlled analysis of breaking putts starting research and delivering putting lessons in 2006.
We also use technologies such as Vertex,Blast Motion and Capto extensively and the Perfectstroke Putting Aid helping golfing clients of all levels and abilities. We offer full day putting schools which include golf technique analysis at our location Golf24 Southport as well as golf green reading classes at Lakelands Golf Club.

GOLD COAST Golf Lessons and Full Day Golf Schools
We offer individual and shared golf lessons as well as Full Day Golf Schools. The golf schools can be conducted at either Lakelands Golf Club or at the Golf 24 indoor studio based in Southport on the Gold Coast.
This provides the player the opportunity to practice or play courses under our guidance helping to develop skills and understand concepts of the game that are crucial for whole game development. These one or multi day programs include instruction both at our golf studio and on course at Lakelands Golf Club and other Gold Coast golf courses. We specialise in golf putting analysis and instruction using SAM PuttLab technology with video analysis and a complete range of training aids that help develop technique and to grasp concepts quickly. Our putting studio is also equipped with SAM Ball Tracking and Projection and the Perfectstroke Platform with projection. This allows players to practice on our tilting platform with lines showing accurate aim and ball roll directions for different length putts at various slopes.
A one day or multi day school typically starts at 8.30 am at the Lakelands Golf Club where your coaches Mark Officer and Wayne Armstrong will do swing and game evaluations and then outline concepts and explanations on faults and fixes based on over 75 years combined coaching experience.
Participants will spend time each day on the Lakelands practice fairway and short game areas, lunch and then time on course at the highly rated Jack Nicklaus designed course. Each full day school has the option to play 18 holes at Lakelands Golf Club and our four and five day schools have the option to play 18 holes at two other top rated Gold Coast golf courses.
