The Perfectstroke Aim Calibration Cards have been produced to help golfers gauge where to aim for varying length putts on different speed greens or putting training platforms with variable slope amounts. The cards come in double side versions in 9/10 Stimp, 11 and 12 Stimp and 13 and 14 Stimp. When you buy the Perfectstroke Aim Calibration Cards you get the full set of cards from 9-14 Stimp.
They are available in either metric of imperial versions, just add your preference when making your order.
The aims are based on planar slopes or slopes that have an even amount angle from the ball to the target.
They have been produced to assist with the calibration of preferred aims for use with the Perfectstroke Putting Platform System. Each facility may have different speed carpet or artificial turf which means that aims on different amount of slopes will vary according to the surface. By referring to the Perfectstroke Aim Calibration cards the projected aim can be adjusted according to standard or preferred entry speeds.
The Perfectstroke Aim Calibration cards can also be used on a practice putting green for planar putts up to 12 feet in the case of the imperial version or 4 metres in the case of metric version.
Adjustments can be made for putts that are not planar based on a clock face. As a rough guide for putts on slopes of 2% and up to 3.5% putting from a 5 or 7 o’clock position, they will break around 30% of the break from the planar or 3-9 o’clock position. Putts from 8 or 4 o’clock will break around 60%. At 2% slope the 10 and 2 o’clock positions will be about the same as planar and from 3% and above the 10 and 2 o’clock positions will be 15-20% more than planar.
Reading greens accurately and effectively comes from experience and the Perfectstroke Aim Index Cards will help players to gain experience in where to actually aim for different length putts at varying slopes and speeds.
